Biopharmaceutics and pharmacokinetics: Bioavailability, blood level curves, optimizing oral and non-oral drug absorption, etc.

Microencapsulation using different techniques, aqueous and organic.

Tabletting, using single or multiple punch machines, wet/dry granulation.

Film preparation using both casting and extrusion methods.

Film coating including the use of water-based systems e.g. pseudolatex dispersions (Eudragit, Aquacoat and Surelease), using a nuidized bed apparatus "Aeromatic AG".

Semisolid preparations e.g. ointments and creams.

A strong background on sustained release dosage forms (conventional and innovative), both theoretical and experimental.

Full knowledge of the different types of polymers and their uses in the pharmaceutical industry.

Familiar with the following techniques: HPLC, TLC, UV-VIS, SEM, etc....

Industrial Experience:

Participated in Scaling-up and the production of 23 products, April and May 1998 in the following locations:

A. Solid dosage forms (tablets and capsules):

DRAGENOPHARM pharmaceutical plant, Apotheker Puschl CmbH &     Co. KG, Gollstrasse 1, D-84529, Tittmoning, Germany.
