The aim of undergraduate Pharmacology teaching is to
impart the basis of drug actions related to therapeutic and adverse effects. It
extends to creation of clear understanding of the pharmacological basis of drug
use in clinical setting to be effective, safe and economically sound. The
department also undertakes the graduate and postgraduate studies in different
spheres of experimental, clinical and epidemiopharmacology.
